RIM's BlackBerry solution has been implemented in over 14,500 organizations in North America and Europe with 320,000 current users.

BlackBerry is the leading wireless e-mail solution for the enterprise. With BlackBerry for Microsoft Exchange, or Lotus Domino, mobile users can send and receive their Microsoft Exchange corporate e-mail and access information wherever they go. It's the only totally integrated package that includes desktop tools, server software, flat-rate airtime and wireless handhelds, providing a complete, end-to-end solution. The new PDA now has a fully functional cell phone built in so that executives on the go don't need to tote two gadgets.

Out of the box, it comes stocked with all of the core applications you'd expect, including always-on access to corporate e-mail, SMS messaging, a wireless Web browser, an electronic organizer, and, as previously mentioned, a cell phone. On top of that, you get typical phone features such as caller ID, call waiting, conference calling, and call forwarding.

PowerUsers sells, installs, and supports both voice and e-mail connectivity with the Blackberry computer. There are four models of Blackberries offered in the United States ... the 950, the 957, the 5810, and the new 6710.

PowerUsers is based in Cincinnati, and is a value added remarketer for T-Mobile Global Wireless, and  Connectione, Inc., of Austin, Texas .. a Master VAR for VoiceStream, Cingular, and Blackberry.

The 957 in the middle is currently the most popular, having been on the market for almost 2 years.  It offers 'always on' wireless connections to the user's own Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Exchange.  It syncronizes e-mails, address books, tasks, and many other functions including Web Browsing.  It sells for $ 349.

The 5810, in the center right, includes a wireless cell phone, offering all of the connectivity above as well as voice communications in one device, eliminating the need to carry a separate cell phone.  It sells for $ 349.

The 6710, on the far right, includes a GSM/GPRS wireless cell phone, offering all of the connectivity above as well as voice communications in one device, eliminating the need to carry a separate cell phone.  It sells for $ 499.
